Those indicators were very difficult to change on my car. From memory position the flat handle level and then wiggle rearwards keeping it as level as you can. Take a picture of the handle before you start so you know which way to turn the handle when you replace it in the level position and then turn it slightly. They lock inwards like an old fashioned lightbulb with a bayonet fitting - so inwards into position and then twist. If you lock them the wrong way they are a total mother to move next time - but it can be done.

Is this the impact switch?

Well, all but the turn lights are relatively easy to access. Turn light bulbs, however, are incredibly inaccessible. I tried working with the one on the right since it is more approachable, but I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to be doing.

From comments elsewhere, it appears I'll have to take off the entire headlight and possibly the front bumper to pull that bulb out.

The first picture shows ... well, I don't know what it is. If you're supposed to be able to lift that, as a lid, I can't do it. It can be twisted some 15° back and forth and that's all I can do with it. To the left you see the rubber caps which can be lifted easily and the other bulbs are approachable from there. In comparison, these are like taking a field day.

The second picture was taken from behind of that turnable thing to the right. Looks like it could be twisted off, but I simply can't access it with my hands. We're talking about he right side headlight still, the one on the left is beyond approach. At the minimum, I'd have to take off the fuse box.

Since the left headlight is really quite corroded and dimmed, I'll purchase a restoration kit, take it off and replace the bulb all in one go.
