Forum chaps and chapesses, I have an X Reg Punto (Mark 2 I think) 1.2 16V ELX with a factory fitted Blaupunkt head unit.
Will this head unit allow a CD changer to be connected to it?
Which CD Changers are compatible ?
What additional adapters/cables will be required ?

I had a Blaupunkt CDC-A08 fitted to my ELX with standard head unit. Not sure on cabling as I had it supplied and fitted at a local car audio centre. Not sure if newer CDC's will work, but I'd contact the people at Blue Spot (Blaupunkt centre).

i know the above cd changer is compatible im not sure if any other brands are though. you need power wire and teh conecttor cable that jst plugs in back of head unit.

I'm also looking for a cd changer for my Punto Go 2002
I called the Blaupunkt hotline in the Netherlands. They told me Punto radios can only use a Fiat Blaupunkt changer. I also read on this forum some people did install the A08 and one user had problems getting it to work. So my question is has anyone used a normal A08 cd-changer and get it working or are all the A08 cd-changer used, Punto specific?
