Unfortunately I may be scrapping my 52reg punto elx 1.2 5door. she will never pass another mot due to corrosion. Parts I could be selling are: Heko wind deflectors. RE manufactured electric steering column by ECU testing UK. (Plug and play) four steel wheels with excellent Dunlop Sport Blue Response tyres 195 14s. Many other easy to remove parts will be looking for good homes...it's a real shame to send them for scrap. I'll be keeping all the parts that I can use on my "new" 1.1 Panda though. Very sad times if anyone wants anything please just ask. Collection preferably due to lack of time and family issues. Any parts will not be available until early 2018.

Any chance you got the stock subwoofer?- I don't know if the elx came with one

A car with a subwoofer will usually have different main speakers, ones that do not work on the low ranges, as the woofer is doing that. I had a Mk2 with one years ago, hated it as it made the contents of the boot 'sing', but disconnecting it lost the sound quality. So if replacing one, fine, but if adding, might need to consider changing them all.

Very irritating when your luggage vibrates to the radio. Zizzing carrier bags particularly annoying.

I have mate. Took it out when I got my punto..to make boot bigger. I've never used it. Have the original CD Radio c/w code too somewhere.

I added a subwoofer to my mk2b

Soooo much better vs the 6speaker setup without

Rears are still stock
Front are alpines
The performance is pretty good all around
It sounds super flat without it been on...

Except for the odd reason when i loose my fronts for no reason

Whereabouts are you? If you're close I'd definitely be interested in the subwoofer.

Good to hear- I have been noticing a tinniness to the standard speakers.
Weirdly I have the front drivers side cutting out sometimes- a quick knock on the door card and it comes back tho

Any chance you've found out how much postage is? No rush, but I've been searching around the local scrappies with no luck- most round here are useless tbf..
Also, have you still got the metal mounting bracket- I've heard you need that to fit the sub properly.
