hello there peeps 1 problem after another thats cars for you fiat punto sporting 1.6 96 p reg hello what my problem is that the car dont idle it cuts out and the injector light is on the dash the cars is my brothers he had the prob before the car was parked up he had someone come out and do a diag he told my bro hes fault was the (egr) exhaust gas recircultation which was brought from fiat for an arm and a leg the prob was still there then the ecu totally packed up due to bad water damage you lot prob know the 1 lol after and lot of searching for the ecu got my own unit rebuilt so as good as new just fitted to the car started up sound thank god but got the problem of not ticking over but the thing is that when i take the plug out of the egr the car purrs like a cat as soon as i plug back in the revs drop and stalls so what am i looking at now ?? lambarda sensor ? im pulling my hair out but seems like a few peeps had same problem many many thx if any1 can help me out

some1 told me unplug the cold start plug please could some1 tell me where this is located many thx and is it ok to run the car with the egr unplugged? is this just for emissions?
