Hi guys,

I have my both front windows stuck closed, I think the motors for the windows have gone, managed to get the door panel almost off yet can't seem to get it off where it meets the window, I saw a post on here where the guy used a screwdriver on the outside to hinge the rubber seal up yet how do I do that if I can only get on the inside?

Hi. what flavour punto is it..??

I did a lock swap on a 2001 sporting..dont recall any great challenges.

Fuse:relay does sound more likely..

As the wiring must be separate..after the switches..

Shsme they are not in the door handle..as checking connections at that point would be more useful..and potentislly simpler

To take off the door card take all the screws and such out. Pull it out at the bottom to be sure all the fastenings are released.

Put on finger between the door and the door card on the back edge put of the door and move it upwards towards the window.

Be careful not to trap your finger, then essentially just pull the back edge of the door card directly upwards.

Last time i took a door card off...I undid every screw i could find, removed the speaker, and also the inner door mirror cover. Then very careful go round the edge of the door card with a Flat head screwdriver to prize the plastic clips out. (invariably one will get stuck and pull out from the door card). Once it's all free from the door lift the back of the door card upwards and the rubber slides out from the window, a gentle pull backwards releases the front of the rubber from under the mirror part. Door crad is then off. Underneath you should find protective plastic over the access holes( which will be intact if the door card has never been off before).
Personally i would be looking at Fuses/Relays first if both Windows have failed, Normally the drivers one would fail before the passenger side (Mainly as it gets used a lot more) so check the electrics first.
