Five door JTD/ELX Punto.

I found my car quit noisey(used to it now!!) Tracked some of it down to window seals.Previous owner must have thought it was air vents as they had been pulled out and badly re fitted
I first bought wind deflectors from Fiat,£26 seemed good buy to me, easy to fit too. This helped a bit but still had wind noise.Secondly, I have cut foam strips,15 x 5mm, fitted these up inside the channel, centrally under the rubber lips.
Down the motorway at 75 mph I couldn't believe the difference!! I know it is a bit of a botch but it definately worked on my car.

I've come to a point where if I hear a weird noise in a Fiat, I think nothing on it. Gives 'em character, that's why I love them so much! :D

Well done for finding out the problem though (y)

hey aboput them wind deflectors one things that allways bugged me on my mk2 punto is if you have the window openedthe slightest and there is some rain it comes of roof and drips in that bugs me as i like my windows open as much as possible. i was wondering if the wind deflectors woulld enable me to have my windows open a lil during the rain ? do they deflect the water enogh ?

I can hear wind when im drivin but im used to it now, as long as no water leaks into my car i dont mind!! My car whistles in the wind when it is parked. Anybody else find this with theirs?

I have a punto mk1 sx60 - and the sunroof loves to whistle when it's windy! ..still, no water! :D - it's quite comforting really ;o)

Yes, the wind deflectors are good. They keep rain out when slightly open and not just as noisey as open window. Not badly priced for fiat either.I still cant believe the change in noise level !! I think maybe the channel is too big and seal too small.
