General Mk2 punto misfire

hi,i have a 17 yr old punto 8 valve with 136k miles.
i am getting what seems like slight misfire trough all speeds and especially
when i change up or down a gear,the engine seems to be running that bit lumpy.I have changed the plugs and leads,whats the next thing i have to look at.should i get new coil packs since they are 17 yrs old.
any help appreciated

If the engine running sweet at idle but cant seem to take a load (ie driving)
Then i would look at blaming the coil packs
136k 17y/o original coils bloody good going
DONT get white box surprises - decent quality needed to prevent them back surging ecu

Coils usually breakdown when HOT and under load is a sure sign there past it
