Any idea where I can get some "pretty" lights for the facelift? FOund some lovely lexus ones but they are 99-03, nothing seems to be available for 03-06.

Don't think anyone ever made anything for the 2b.

Edit: Saying that, I could be wrong but other than the extra reflectors on the bootlid I don't think there was any change to the rear light shape?

Mk2 and mk2b rear lights are identical except mk2 used orange lens and white bulbs for indicator, the mk2b uses clear lens and orange painted bulbs for indicators

Im almost sure wiring is identical as its the same car just a facelift on the front and changed to canbus ps and stereo

Hi Mate,


Mk2 rear lights are the same as the Mk2b apart from the reflectors.
Just make sure you are getting the right equivalents - i.e for a 3door or 5 door.


If I'm totally honest the lexus lights do look nasty. I got myself a set of black ones secondhand from ebay (even had replacement reflectors for the mk2b boot) but they really don't look very good.


The Mk2b lights with the white indicators look the best.
Why not flyeye them to make them look different?

Thanks al,l the front lights are defo a different shape to the standard b, the rear lights seem the same apart from the extra set on the boot? WOuldnt have to be lexus, I just liked the blackish tint on the rear because its a yellow car. Someone else said angel eyes but again, can't find any.

Flyeye? is that an LED addition? Sorry, never really looked at light mods before lol.

Flyeye is a self adhesive vinyl type thing which goes over the whole surface of the light, but is a kind of weave so it gives the impression of tint whilst still allowing most of the light through.

Reflectors are the same position in the lighy clusters tho...

Mk2bs have additional in the rear bumpers tho
