Hi.
To anyone that can help I have a jtd punto with alot of modifications.. Remap etc

As the gearbox was shot I'm replacing the clutch it didn't slip before and I believe it is standard.
I would like to add a slightly better one out of the hgt jtd as it's rated slightly higher hp.

I got the idea reading a thread and would like conformation whether it will fit as part numbers are different.

It is the same size and same amount of teeth, also on the spec sheet for the hgt clutch it states it's suitable for the 5M box the jtd has. So it should be only the flywheel fitting being an issue.
Valeo jtd flywheel is fitted currently and I wish to keep this.

Thanks in advance if you can help.

The 1.9 jtd does not use the same gear box as a 1.9 multijet hgt. The HGT has a dual mass flywheel also, theoretically it will fit the engine as they are essentially the same 1.9 8v diesel but with a different flywheel and gear box I wouldn't like to gamble on it being an easy or cheap job.

If you're talking about just fitting the clutch from a petrol HGT it may well fit but is unlikely to be any sort of upgrade from the diesel and to be honest may not be as strong or cope with the torque of a Diesel engine
