Technical Uprated rear springs?

I know my arse of my cars getting saggy, age mikeage and a heavy hammering of speed bumps too much throughout the day, its getting tired
So wanna get new shocks, but im towing with a full boot im sat darn low, very low

So yes new spring woud help but was wondering if there was better springs out there?

Yea i redid the fronts about 2 years ago after just 1 spring snapped....

I like lemfoder springs nice quality and price
And shocks i look kyb as a rule

Will check out shop4parts etc

I think original is only way forward... may have to get some rummber spring assistors

There different to the 8v, by product code according to shop4parts...

Wonder with more power it needs thicker rear to accomodate the rear arse

I didn't want to make a new thread for this so I will just ask here.
The rear springs on my sporting are showing the common sag and with people sat in the rear the back end is pretty much on the floor- no scraping yet though thankfully.

I want to ask- are the rear springs for the 1.4 sporting the same as the normal 1.2s or are they shorter/thicker?
According to eurocarparts they are the same product number but I don't really trust them

Why don't you get eibach pro kit? I think it's -35 all around and it's one of the best lowering springs for the Punto on market

I'm an idiot, I just read your post again. Doesn't the HGT and 1.9 JTD have stiffer springs in the back (and HGT having them lower as well)? What about Punto Van springs?

I don't know about the HGT or the JTDs but surely the Punto van springs have to be longer to deal with the payloads- probably too extreme for my case
I just want to know if anyone knows or has fitted 'normal' springs to the rear of a sporting.
The rear end sag when any load is put in the rear seats or in the boot is just going to get worse over time - I had to adjust my headlights to level 3 just to avoid blinding people the other night.

I just want the normal ride height back to deal with the terrible state of the roads, any thoughts?

If the old springs are getting weak it’s going to sit lower with the back of the car full.

Better to fit the correct springs they will immediate improve the problems you’re having, it will still sit low at the back when full anyway that’s a normal process for the car, as long as it’s not scraping it’s fine. The whole reason you have a headlight adjustment on the car is because this is a normal trait of the punto.

New springs are surprisingly cheap.

Quite likely, dare say even the diesels use the same rear springs. If you’re not 100% with what ECP have said try GSF or one of the many other parts suppliers

Ive had a look at other sites, they all seem to say all rear springs are the same.
Il probably grab some new ones off ebay as they are cheaper

I had mine from S4p, they where About 6 years old when I replaced them, mine is the 1.6 mjet, these springs are standard ride height, but are stiff, not saying uncomfortable but I don’t see them sagging before we become carbon neutral in about 2040.
