There was a similar thread to my issue but could not find the solution as my problem is slighlty different. I bought an aftermarket radio (JVC 971BTE) and would like to connect it to my 2002 Punto Sporting Mk2 (with factory subwoofer system). However i'm afraid that the ISO connector wiring is not correct in my car, i mean it doesn't match with the given ISO adapter. Also there in an additional yellow plug that is i think CAN A and CAN B and for this i do not see any slots in my new radio. Can you please advise how i should rewire the adapter/radio?

Plug and play
Dont worry about the yellow/blue/green connector thing
Thats for original/factory units

After market wont need them

As for wiring, punto is a bog standard iso connector - just make sure that when ignition is off the stereo goes off
If not - you need to swap battery and accessory wires over
Otherwise thr stereo will kill battery overnight

Thanks i quickly checked it and was powering up properly. However i felt that something might be wrong as if i increased volume it seemed that the fader ratio changed as well

Hi Ziggy, I'm about to do a similar swap on my daughters Punto. What/which is the battery accessory wire ?? Many thanks.
