Fiat Punto 2003 petrol, it has been 40,000 miles when changed y timing belt that it loss of power, I am assuming.

Now it has 62,000 miles,
changed 201516
high tension cables
coils marelli x 2
tensioner
spark plugs

At 2nd gear it revs 4000, then at 3rd and 4th it struggle o rev 3000.

Could it be oxygen sensor or fuel injectors dirty ?

It could be a faulty oxygen sensor...

Is it running rough at idle or is there coming a lot of smoke out from the exhaust?
Do you have noticed a increased fuel consumption?

Am I understanding this correctly ?
You have a power loss since changing the timing belt. Is this an 8 valve motor ?
If the belt is out by one tooth the car will start and run almost normally at low power but will struggle when you ask for more power.

Start with the basics, check timing belt timing which is easy, check valve clearances, have the emissions checked at your local garage/mot place and when was the last time it had a fuel filter change.?

Before I started on Punto's i had a Seicento 1.1 Sporting....Cam pulley was knacked so it regularly used to jump the timing belt a tooth or two....
Pretty much gave the same issue, no power at higher revs or sometimes wouldnt start or run at all until the belt was adjusted to it's correct position.
Sei essentially has the same engine as the Punto

Sei/cuiq/panda/punto all are practically identical bar cylinder heads and bor'ing
