So they would have already tested the efficiency right? I've just been to a really steep hill & parked with 4 clicks & no problem so hope all is well now.

I've read that if the clamp is at an angle, i.e. not at a right angle to the cables then there is something wrong on one side?

Oh ok, thanks. With the handbrake off on mine the angle is not 90 degrees, when it's pulled on the angle goes back to 90 degrees, so one of the cables is travelling a lot further, this doesn't seem to tally with having different cable lengths. Not trying to be difficult here, just trying to figure out if there is yet anther problem I have to deal with.

hi, one self adjuster in rear drum working..and one NOT,;)

welding..in my experience once you've done more than a single patch..it's only a matter of time, - basically the underseal cracks with old age.., and traps moisture that rots the floor from within..,:yuck:

my 1st Mk2..
failed BADLY on corrosion - so I got a full time car welder to do ALL the fails and ALL the advisories £400+, worth it I thought, (y)

next year, £500 required:bang: car went for parts.:(
