I bought the blank because my remote key had lost the button, so all I wanted was the front face of the key.
The plastic is different to the Fiat supplied key, it's a different colour blue.



The fit of the Fiat key to the new front wasn't perfect but it does fit and I'm happy with it. It's a key at the end of the day and not a fashion statement!



The blanks themselves are easy to get cut over here, any locksmith that can cut car keys can do a blank. I'd like to think it would be the same in Finland, it's just a lump of metal that needs a bit of fancy engraving after all!

it cant be 150 eur just to cut a key, it takes few mins on that machine, you can do it yourself too it will just take a long time, there are videos on youtube

DIY fiat key? worth checking out. Hard to believe I can cut the key so it works well though.

There might be legal reasons why the local engraver/cobbler guys dont want to do these keys - then again I have not turned up with the blank and asked them what they can do.

€30 Euro 'half hour job' to copy the key from my unused spare. Works better than the unused spare.

Ordered another one so I have two perfect remote keys.
