Hi Guys,

I installed an oiled catch tank (can) to my Punto MK2 1.2 8v.
I made myself the piping, connections, filtering, etc. I have very good results in fuel consumption, i think.
I would like to share my ideas with the community.

Anyone has any experience in oil catch cans on this type of Punto or other Fiat?
I would like to know results from other people to compare and share the ideas! :slayer:

Please check my video channel here about the results, and setup.
(This is not for money!!!!)

Please dont laugh too much about the piping, because iam serious :D and it is for testing purposes. Maybe in the future if i have time and money i will by BMC OTA and redesign the piping. With BMC i think it would be better.
I have been using the car with the catch can for 6 months without any problem and if i dont drive like a mad the consumption is amazing

Hi,

You can read a lot of info about the benefits and how it is working in general. You can try to search on Google.
Sorry but I cannot explain it in short but the benefits are the following:
- better combustion,
- avoid valve deposition and misfiring,
- avoid used oil vapour which leads to less power,
- less pollution, because during the better combustion more particles burn,
- dirty oil is building up in the catch can, so no deposition in the butterfly valve, motor, etc.
- much longer engine life
- smiling :D
