OK tried all positions and all variants on software and still cannot connect. ..going to try version 2.7 now.
Passenger airbag light for mk2b is lit when the bag is disabled. Have you checked the passenger on off switch that you turn with the car key on the inside of the door frame?
Which light is on? the fault one or the passenger off one?

I haven't touched the switch prior to this. But did take it out to check connection. All wires seated well.

just took it to the local garage I take my cars to. Put it on snap on reader. Couldn't find an airbag feature with it so used a stilo variant and cleared code. .. error came up as break in passenger side system. P0002 I think. And as I remember saying previous.. I took out all 7.5 amp fuses which the passenger side is controlled by a 7.5 amp....so looks like I caused the issue all along. I tried to hook up with version 2.2 and no joy that's y I took it to the local garage.. cost me a tenner.. but I'm happy now.

The snap on scanners DO HAVE the airbag read....
i've done my 2004 on a quiet upto date snap on scanner
I also checked everything like EPS - Dash - airbag etc
