Hi. I have a serious problem with the electrical system in my 2002 1.2 Punto. Whether I signal (right or left), turn on the heater, use the front wipers, turn on the headlights or honk, the rear wiper starts rolling. It would not be such a problem as I could pull out its fuse and stop it, but the BIGGEST problem is that the heater ventilation is very low, headlights do not turn on, it does not honk, and the front wipers barely make it to the top and back... as it would not give enough current to this services.

I have replaced the part on the steering wheel that controls the signaling and headlights, problem persists. All fuses seem ok.

The car starts without a glitch, the battery is ok.

Please help. Have you encountered this sort of problem?

You need to look at the earth cables on the battery and especially around the dash.

Basically if ther rear wiper starts on its own accord for anything it's 99.999% of the time an earth fault
