I hope someone can help me because Eurocarparts made me annoyed because of this:
My gearbox was half empty of fluid, I felt this when changed gear.
Went to local garage, and changed the old MTF to Tripple QX 75W-80, as they system gave this. (2 litres came out, 4,5 went in..)
It became perfect when the gearbox gets the proper temperature - but when it's cold, it's very stiff. Many times can't put into 2nd, 3rd, 4th for about 20 mins until the oil becames warmer.
Found out, that the Tripple QX is semi-synthetic, and I think my car needs full synthetic (haynes mk2 service manual shows Syntetic based 75W-80 etc....)
The thing is obviously they won't refund me (tried to complain), but I am worried about spending 40-50 again and maybe I choose the wrong oil.
Questions:
Thank you in advance

Questions:
- Is the any additional solutions (like adding 0.5 litres fluid to make the original fluid thinner - so it can operate properly when it's cold)?
- Will become thinner by a few weeks without making damage in the gears?
- If no and not, what fluid should be changed to? I found this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161523134971?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
Thank you in advance
