Interesting and annoying thing happened this morning.....so there i was driving along the A465 to where i was working today In Rhymney in the welsh valleys...
got stuck behind a lorry and had to wait for a bit of dual carriageway to blast past him.
So finally i get to pull out and overtake...to be immediately met with the site of several pieces of wood lying in the outside lane of the dual carriageway (Not massive pieces, they were about 1 foot long and 1 1/2 inch by 1 inch width) due to some idiot not loading his vehicle properly...did the obvious and tried to steer round them, but clipped one and got the resounding clonk under the car for it.
So i was more than a little surprised to arrive at my destination to find 6 inches of said piece of wood sticking straight through the rear bumper where it had neatly punched a hole straight through (That's the annoying part as now i got a hole in the bumper to fix:mad:).

Pics of the aforementioned hole...wouldn't like to guess at the force involved to make such a clean hole

A good friend called me out late one night in a state of shock. He clipped a loose cats eye which punched a hole on the rear passenger footwell, severed the fuel line and took out the rear offside wheel. Luckily it happened at a long layby and he ended up against the back wall in a pool of petrol having left a trail of angle grinder sparks dragging the knackered wheel.
