i have a 2001 1.9 diesel fiat punto van
had the car about 2 weeks, driven twice. next day fuel gauge read empty but it had 3 quarters of a tank, then power steering light came on. car try's to start but will not start. giving a fault code of u1600 and u1601 key not recognised emmobiliser fault i believe.
i have replaced the emmobiliser antenna ring (second hand) it still the same.
do i change key, new barrel, re-program ECU, help help help

where did you buy car from? do you got some sort of warranty?

if its from a garage - send the car back
