not shure but try the radiator, the thermostat housing (or in the top of the block beneath the water pump if your pump is external)!

not much help i know!!! (it looks like a nut with elec connection on top!)

if its the Air temp sensor it will be in the inlet manifold!
if its the thermostatic switch it will be one of the above!

take it that its the air temp so that it over fules or something trick like that? ;)
Pls explain as i may try one!

If its the air temp sensor/Pressure sensor its a 4 pin black colour sensor on the manifold, also the coolant temp sender can be in manifold a green coloured sensor with 2 pins. It dosent have a thermostatic switch for the cooling fans there are controlled from ecu all of the one sensor... not two or three like old vehicles.. Didn't get last message

if it's a little resistor mod you have, you need to have a look along the air intake route to find an electrical connector, usually has 2 wires coming from it. The resistor mod u'll have, tricks the ECU into thinking the air is cold and chucks in more fuel. Not really recommended as it'll void your warranty. a mate of mine had the ECU warning light on his dash light up and took it to fiat, said there was a problem internally in the ECU and needed replacing. They found the thing attatched and the b@stards voided the warranty! he had to pay up to fix it. BE WARNED.

Not really. fuel consumption increased marginally but nothing on performance. When fiat had the ECU connected to their diagnostics machine, it failed to get a reading and when they found the mod, they removed it and still got no reading on the machine. Dodgy mod = bye bye warranty basically. Better spending money on a superchip, those Don't void the warranty.
