I'd like to replace my fuel filter. Would anyone mind giving me a quick lesson on where to find it?

what car you got?
the punto's is infront of the back drivers side wheel, shielded by a plastic housing.
only know that cos just had to replace mine.

be aware when disconnecting pipes dont pull too hard as when taking mine off we snapped the plastic pipe off the petrol pump sender unit.

just wondering mate as i had trouble replacing my fuel filter on 55sx.
I cant get the fuel pipes off the actual filter. there are these plastic retainers on the pipe but im not sure how to remove the filter. seems like you need to push these two plastic clips in but that doesnt remove it!!

any help would be appreciated.

Had a bit of probs with that to! but pushed and pulled them and thay came off after a bit! think thay were full o Sh#t!
PS cover your filter with Paint,Waxoil ex ex to stop it rotting! had a few do that and leak fuel!

same prob here lots of pulling and pushing thats how the pipe to the pump got broken.

Early mk1 punto 55 had pipes which had hose clips on Early punto 75 had bolt on unions, late mk1 punto has quick release connectors. Just push in the the two pegs that stick out then pull it off. Mk2 & Mk 3 Puntos dont have one. its in the fuel tank in the pump. Sealed for life .

Tried pushing the pegs in but they wont really go in if you know what i mean!! however i did snap one of the pegs by accident and the pipe popped off but i put it back on and cant remove it now!!! i have to pop the car into a garage so will see if they will do it!
