Just fitted new battery but the box wont fit around it.

Can anyone tell me from the pictures is how its fitted is ok and if its still ok for mot next saturday?

As long as the battery is secure and cant move with the metal strap
Then the plastic surrounding it dont really matter

Thanks i might straighten out the strap to make it a little tighter but it will hopefully be ok

I think that looks fine.when I fitted my new one last month i had to lift it with a plastic packing to bring it level with the top of the battery box but you dont seem to have that problem.I did also put some rubber strip under the metal clamp where it presses on the battery top,but that was me being fussy! Hope it passes ok.
