My 2004 Punto 1.2 has a sunroof (electric glass tilt and slide) which leaks. More precisely, if it rains hard in the night then the first time I brake in the morning, water cascades from the front of the trim around the courtesy light. I understand this is probably blocked drains, but I just can't find them!

I've taken off the interior plastic trim surround which exposes the workings. It looks to me like the trim is the only thing which will catch leaks, but I can't see how water is supposed to drain out of it, other than overflowing into the car (which is what it does :(). Or is the water supposed to be caught in another part of the sunroof without reaching the trim? Any advice on how to locate the drains much appreciated....

All sunroofs have 4 drains at least one in each corner so you can park the car in any direction on uneven ground and they can still drain properly

Some times you might find it leaks when parked on a certain angle

I've attached a pic of a punto sunroof which shows the points where the drain tubes attach.

Should be able to blow down then with relative ease to ensure free flowing?

I think the front ones drop down the front A pilller trims near window screen - which is just a unclip job, but where from there im not sure
