Hi all, i'm a new member with a problem on a W plate Punto 16v. It's started to idle from startup very lumpily, almost on 3 cylinders. this clears but then the car just wont pull, it misses occasionally and has no power when accelerating, it's also stalled a couple of times. Local Fiat dealer reckons it could be the Lambda probe..! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar prob - turned out to be one of the coils gone - I have a Mk1 punto so not sure if it the same - there are 2 coils to two sets of plugs... Might be an idea also to just check your plugs and HT leads... I replaced the leads and still had the problem - thats how i found out it was the coil.

aparently its common for 1 of the plug leads to get rubbed away by air filter box
