![]() | power steering light...again my power steering light sometimes stays on after start-up, after speaking to the dealers, they reckon the cause is.....i have big feet ![]() ![]() it may be possible cause occasionally i feel my feet on the steering shaft, but think nothing of it my question is, is there any sensors on steering shaft or nearby? are they fobbing me off, to save themselves a job and me a trip up to see them it's under warranty and have something done to power steering light a few weeks after i got it, im hoping they would of sorted out the orginal problem with it and this is a different one cheers ![]()

![]() | Re: power steering light...again There are sensors, but not on the shaft by your feet, they are all internal behind all the coulings - I believe the problem is that your dealer is a bit rubbish. If they carried out a 'Examiner' check there would be a fault stored - you would then start to make a diagnosis from there. Worse case you will need a new steering coloumn assembly - but there relatively easy to fit, plus its warranty so whats the problem with the dealer - contact Fiat customer care and tell them exactly what happened and that your "really concerned for your safety" ![]()

![]() | Re: power steering light...again Which was going to be my reply, I am sure FIat wouldn't have designed the car that way - unless Italians have small feet.
