I fitted a mk2 puller to the mk2b

As they are essentially the same car
Just slightly different on the front and a few electronics have changed since then

Cheers guys, I ordered a new handle and cable today. Hopefully I can fix it. I will give donation when they arrive to get the guide. Fingers crossed I won't destroy my car.

when you change the cable..before removing it..tape a length of string to the end of it..

then pull cable,,through.

then cut off the string and tape it to the new one...and just pull the string from inside car..


(sometimes its best to Remove Battery lead's,.)
