hey i was jus wondering if anyone has any ideas on this.

i have a 2001 1.2 sporting and ive jus replaced the standard head unit with a new blaupunkt alcapulo 52. when the engine is off everything runs perfectly. but when i turn on ignition or flash lights i get this really loud rattling in the rear speakers.

the only way i can get rid of this is to turn off the engine.

on the back of the head unit i have not put on a small black plastic cover on the screw type stick coming out of the headunit. i have also not used the antenna adapter as this jus stops the signal altogether.

anyone got any ideas?

I don't think the pinouts of the standard Mk2 stereo are the same as other stereos. I know it sounds strange. Have a look in your local Halfords for a wiring kit. If not try contacting Fiat for one.

yeah that's true, you need an autoleads adaptor, the wiring needs to be swapped around a bit,
