Another post about my g/f's 53 reg Sporting.

We noticed last week that sometimes (read:quite often) some lights on the dash stay on after the ignition is turned off. For example if you stop the car, open the door and then turn the ignition off the "door open" light will stay on, even after you've got out locked the doors etc. If you close the doors and turn the ignition on one click the door light will go off, but then the oil lights etc. will stay on as the engine wasn't started....

Anyone had anything similar ?

Yep had a similiar thing happen on my old Punto. Disconnect the battery for a minute or two then connect it back up again
