im not really too clued up on stereos to be honest, you should ask in the ice section. the makes i stick to when it comes to stereos are kenwood and pioneer.

Don't know if the basic Mk2s (later called Active's) can control a CD-Changer. My ELX can, so I had one fitted. Easier to change CDs when on the move, although I'm limited to a pre-defined choice of 10...

Ask for CD player t obe fitted(after market type)or you wont buy the car?
Fiat dealers are doing a decent Blaukpunt single cd player for £99 all inclusive (leads/faceplate/fitting) and its a good unit, fitted loads (y)

thanks for that i will be thinking about that

i did ring my local dealership a few months back and they did say that they could fit a cd player for me if i wanted

thanks

rich

If it takes you more than 10mins to wire up a aftermarktet CD with ISO connectors I will give you £10. The hardest bit is getting the std one out, and fitting a face plate (which needs a bit of TLC to ease it in without snapping the clip).

Hi No idea if this is true but I have been told by my Fiat dealer that Mark2 puntos are notoriusly difficult to fit anything electric too including CD Players- I wanted them to fit Central locking and they wouldn't touch it as said too hard and explained how they've fitted loads of CD players but they keep coming back as they fail?? I'm not sayign this is true as looks like lots of people have fitted them themselves - and I got an auto electrican to do my Central locking for £95 and its perfect so not to be replied on but thought I'd mention it!
