Hi,

Car upon start up Judders really badly and that is how it stays, when I try and pull away it stalls!

Back in August, I replaced the head gasket, thermostat, water pump and timed it all up nicely. It was running like a dream up until last week, when it just felt like it wanted to give up all of a sudden. I am going to do a compression test when I can manage to get one tomorrow to see if there is anything a miss there, but I really cant see it being that.

I replaced the plugs, leads, coils and dropped a new virginised ECU in, incase of the old 2 cylinder misfire problem....... No joy!

The resistance on the injectors are even, and they were cleaned not too long ago, so Iv'e ruled them out! The voltage from the fuel pump loom however, fluctuates and does not give a constant reading! I have checked all fuses and they are all in order.

The problem started after I had to drive along a windy bumpy road last week! Possible that the timing may have slipped even though it was changed in late August? I'm at a loss and any opinions would be great.

Pulled a couple of codes up, they are as follow: -

P0230 - Fuel Pump Primary Circuit
P0110 - Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit
P0115 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit

I think the main issue will be P0230. I feel I may have to go through the injectors again, although the resistance is fine, there may be a blockage I guess. What do you reckon guys, with all of the above taken into consideration? Failing that, I will be doing the compression test tomorrow, hoping that it will be fine however.

That's what I feared! The wiring loom to the fuel pump had a fluctuating reading.... I'll chase it all through tomorrow

Thanks.

Did the compression test, cylinders 3&4 were knackered, turned out the gasket had blown between the 2
