Technical Reset Punto Throttle Body/ECU?

I've got a 54 plate Mk2b 1.2 Punto (16v if it makes any difference)

I had map sensor problems about a month ago and changed it for a cheap eBay one, when the garage changed it he gave me instructions to reset something in the car, the eBay map sensor was sh*t so I've changed it to a Bosch one myself but I can't find any information on what I need to reset and how to do it!

Any chance anyone can help with a link or info?

iirc its simply leave the igntion on for 30seconds without touching the pedals at all

Remember to make sure the throttle body is clean
They dont like been dirty

Thanks, I'll try that but last time I had to disconnect the battery for a while, leave the ignition on without the engine running for a while and then had to start the engine and let it idle for 10 minutes without touching the pedal. Is yours a simpler version or do they both do the same thing?
