Hello, guys this is probably a silly question but will a mk2 interior fit straight into a mk2b including front seat, rear seats and door cards?

The mk2 and mk2b are pretty much the same car - just different coesmetics here and there

Seats Yes
door cards - Yes
Rear seats Yes
Dash clocks No
Silver centre console - Yes* (style and counterpart dependant)
Rear Bumpers YES
Front bumpers NO
Dash boards - i think there identical so yes i think

Ensure you dont have seat airbags before you prodding and poking tho

Thanks pal thats brilliant I thought they were pretty much the same just wasn't to sure.

Do you know if everything is pretty easy to take out. I not had a look but imagine the front seat just bolted to the chassis and not to sure about the rear seats.

Fronts are 4x Allen keys iirc
You will need to slide seat forwards and backwards to see them sometimes

Rear seats are a little easier to a degree
Lift the bottom bench up - its simply 2 hex or torx there
removing the back of the bench tho can be a little more tricky as the bolts for them stick out into the rear wheel arch;s, which oftern corrode up and snap when a little bit of force is used

Get soaking them while you can and remove the fronts and door cards
You may forwell find Heat is the only option here, but becareful / Danger is 1 side has the fuel lines

Also make sure its a 3dr going to a 3dr, not a 5dr to a 3dr as they will ""fit"" but not function

if you have the splitting rear back part, it may take a good impact driver to remove them, as again, they sit under the car and corrode in like a bitch

If the bolts do come out - give them a darn good wire wheel with a bench or drill setup
or get some elbow grease and a brush going on them

Refit - ensure you apply correct torque settings too

Cheers pal thanks for all the tips. Gives me a really good idea of whats involved.

If I get around to doing it Ill let you no how I get on :)

Yeah be really carefully taking them back seat torx bolts out i took all my interior out as rear floor was shot and needed welding and i nearly snapped the torx bolts as they was that rusty! And it was a torx size 30 if i remember right
