How easy/difficult is it to fit seat airbags to a mk2b sporting that doesn't have them?
are the seats pre-wired and you just make a hole and plug the airbags?
do you need a new airbag ecu?
are there any other places that can be fitted an airbag? I've heard of pillar airbags...

Not without taking a full airbag system out of a car with it all there and fitting it into yours - alot of work and not technically factory fit so could be classed as liable

Personally i wouldnt bother
in the UK - it probably wouldnt happen either

You would need new seats with airbags, then wiring looms floor and dash, new airbag ecu, and then if you have sides they also have curtain bags which you'll need a new roof lining pillar covers and more wiring, you'd be better off buying whole car with all the parts and swapping them over to your car and if you're going to that extent, then just buy a new car

As Ziggy said not being factory fit makes it all a bit dodgy and unsafe

Make sure you leave holes for your eyes and nose, though: otherwise you won't be able to see or breathe....
