Hi all,

I have recently decided to get to work on a HGT project with my Punto Mk2b Active Sport.

I have currently only got the HGT centre console (haven't put it in yet). However, I don't really know a lot else that goes in a HGT. (I'm not really interested in the CD changer or GPS radio insert).

I know for a fact that HGT's have blue door cards and blue seats. (i'm planning on changing my seats to leather ones). I currently have same door cards as the HGT but in black.
I also know that the HGT has a different interior light to mine. The HGT has two bulbs, mine only has one. Does anyone know if this is a simple DIY task I can do?

Other than the ones above, I don't really have any idea what else a HGT has thats different to my interior. Can anyone help me out?

Cheers,
Rhys

The HGT interior really isn't very different from the active sport interior it's more equipment that is better on the HGT sports seats rear head rests, fabric covered a pillars the interior light they are not all that different

the blue interior you're talking about will be from a mk2 and as your car is a mk2b I would avoid fitting parts from older models the mk2b hgts had much nicer interiors

Hello,

(The HGT has two bulbs, mine only has one.)

Re interior light,
ithink you have to trim out interior roof lining to make it fit,
they is a bigger housing iirc,

Thanks,

I've seen people who have wanted to do it, but it sounds abit complicated if you have to start chopping up your roof lining. I might do a bit more digging and try and find out what is exactly involved and go from there.

Thanks for the reply,
Thats good then. My Active Sport has rear headrests as well!! Just don't have the sports seats. Obviously these could be changed I'm guessing? And probably cheaper than leather ones out of an Alfa. I've only really been interested in the leather Alfa seats, because I saw them on wrightyy's Punto and they looked gorgeous.. Also a guy down my street has a black Mk2a with red Alfa seats and it looks amazing.

Cheers,
Rhys

Good news! The HGT centre console is in! No dramas, it all went in a dream!
