Styling Punto HGT/Abarth Project

Managed to scrape together a bit of money (massive help from my girlfriend) and get something for my car that I've wanted from the minute go! Abarth alloys!!

Firstly I'd like to say a massive thanks to wrightyy for meeting me halfway on collection, made all the difference.

Spent the best part of 2 hours putting on the alloys on myself at home.. This was made alittle trickier when it started pouring with rain, but I managed it in the end!

I am now selling my old Active Sport alloys.

See what you guys think :)

Very nice wheels mate they look great, top find! Would look even better in a darker colour :)
Thanks very much! I'd had plans to get them sprayed either black or anthracite. I reckon they'd look great darker too!

My only worry is that because Abarth alloys are getting sparse, I don't know whether to leave them original for history's sake!

I'm a sucker for black wheels I absolutely love them. First thing I did when I got my sporting wheels was refurbished them and paint them gloss black!

I wouldn't worry about keeping them original just paint them the colour you want. They can always be painted silver again and chances are wheels of that age will have been refurbished before any way!

Keep up the good work mate your puntos top! :)

Good advice! I do like black wheels too! Just need to save up abit more money again to get them refurbed and sprayed (the alloys kind of drained my funds!).

I had plans to get my old Seicento Abarth's alloys resprayed, but just never got round to it.

Thanks :) I see so many amazing Punto's on this forum and I'd never class mine as being that great. Its nice to see you like it :)

Same really, I have a nice punto (I think it is at least anyway lol) but wouldn't say it's great or anything special. I just think it's a good example of a little 10 year old Italian motor. Although I am biased towards it lol

I just took a quick look at your Punto..

I does look great. Love the dark blue colour. Also the contrast between the blue and the black alloys. Definitely makes me like dark allies more!

Cheers, shes my little project that keeps me busy at weekend :)

Only problem with black alloys is that they don't stay clean for long!!!

After a massive faff, i got my badgeless grill on! Looks great though :)

I had to transfer the screws over, finally managed manipulate the grill on. Took a lot longer than I thought it would, but thanks to all people on the forum, I got it sorted :)

It's good to get the badgeless grill on, because I've got Abarth alloys and an Abarth badge on the back. Then had a Fiat badge on the front! So now it looks better.

See what you guys think.
