My stickers finally arrived! At long last I can finally advertise the forum that's helped me out more than my driving instructor did.





I have a question or two;

1) is it possible to replace the Cat Back on the exhaust to churn out more power? I know it's possible with other cars but I'm also ignorant when it comes to the mechanics of things.

2) how often does the Forum have meets? I'd love to check out other peoples cars, see what they've done!

we have lots of meets but as you haven't put your location in your profile I can't tell you where the next one nearest to you is. Look in the events section for info on meets.

replacing the cat back will not give you significantly more power

fit a 1.2 8v exhaust, it gets rid of the restricting middle box, gives a little more grunt that makes it seem quicker

I'll get the location on there, it's Northants/Leicester area!

A guy I know got an extra 20 horses (rolling road) from replacing his on a colt, wondered if that same would apply! Cheers

its the same size bore and fittings just has no middle box

Thanks for that mate. What sort of area are you from? I've only seen one MK2/b around my area so I'm wondering where they all are! :s
