Hi Everyone,
Fiat Punto, Mk 2, 54 REG 1.4 Sporting. :slayer:
Long time user, first time poster.
The other day my car head light units came up as a fail on my MOT and so rather than spend the ridiculous prices the garage wanted to replace them I decided to go at it alone.
All went well and good UNTIL it came to re-connecting the little switch box that electrically moves the dipped beam lights up/down, controlled from the up/down toggle switch on the dashboard to the left of the dial cluster (I hope you get what I mean from my description).
I cannot for the life of me :bang: get this connected in to position and so I'm wondering if any one has any tips or tricks for getting this in?
Just to clarify - its not securing the switch box in to position I'm having trouble with, it's physically getting the little 'ball ended' rod connected in to the grooved slot that is mounted within the headlight unit.
Any help / tip / tricks / or even guide on how to do so would be very much appreciated! :worship:
I look forward to your responses and thank you in advanced.
Andy.
