Hi I wonder if someone can help. I have 195/55/15 wheels on my car.

Does anyone know what pressure should be in them. I've included a picture of the wheels if that helps ImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1398627374.806528.jpg

How about checking on the tyre manufacturers website? Should say on there!

probably find it WONT

Why? That 1 tyre is fitted to many many many different cars let alone different engines and chassis setups (ie estate etc)

The reason why OP - you cant find your tyre size in your book is simples
None Factory Specification

The Punto uses 1 of these 3 tyre sizes

185/60/14 (alloy)
165/70/14 (steel wheel)
185/55/15 (Alloy)

Since you have 195/50/15, somebody has changed them because of a slighty cheaper price

Hope your insurance is okay with this as well btw - If there a funny company, they could refuse a claim - food for thought

Eitherway - Front will need to be higher then rears because of engine weight
i would have thought 32psi and 30/31psi should be good, but cant be sure

Worth a shot though. Not quite the same but I use technical data posters for tyre pressures and torque settings at work so don't see why these aren't public on their websites. These specify tyre sizes and vehicle types. If not on manufacturers website it should be somewhere on the web. I would have thought as it's a safety critical data sheet it would be common knowledge.

Just had a quick look on Google and found tyre pressures and torque setting etc nice and easy to find. Did read a few charts on tyre size comparison but nothing concrete. Only suggestion I can make is to find a similar sized/weight vehicle to the punto that runs on the tyres in question and go off that to get a fairly accurate psi level that's required. Anyone agree or disagree with that?
