Hi People, new here for this reason no more googling can be done, there is nothing I can find out about this problem.

The car failed the NCT/MOT on a few things but we got everything done and working as good as new again, just this one thing we can not get our heads around, we got a fail on this..

"Break Lines/Hoses (47) Flexible Break pipe incorrect assy OffsideFront and NearsideFront"

I have no idea, the break lines are working fine and there is no problem?:bang:

Does anyone have any ideas?

I can post pictures if needed!

Thank you in advance for any help given!

Fantastic Ill get them switched around ASAP

you'll struggle - your missing 2x brackets which allow for this

You need to visit a scrappy and see if you can pull them off

They seize and rot together - so many people simple snap them off
Dont bother redrilling the brackets bolt hole and sticking a fresh nut and bolt in

As a result - you end up with your problem

Trust Me and S+B you are seriously risking your life

I had 1 side like yours, it ruptured 1 hose, rubbed another hose to the cords which would burst at some point

Stopping from 80mph, downhill towards a redlight - IS NOT a fun experience, more like lumpy pants

im affraid not, its not something i took pictures off - i was in a hurry to be back on the road

Its when i brought my first flare spanners too!

Anyway
i knew it'd rubbed a little - and 1 day a heavy braking session and Bang (pedal drops to floor) and you are left with little braking, you still get that 50% one hit stopping power due to the tandem m.cylinder but still....

i didnt know that because i had the missing mount - that was the cause of the rubbing
Eitherway, i fitted a new one, none the wiser - and MOT time, it failed AGAIN because it had been rubbing...

Annoying i replaced it, found the rot was bad and ended up waving Bye Bye to it :(
