Just recently bought some skirts for my punto,

Was just wondering what would be the best way to fit them? i would prefer not too drill any holes in my car.

if there is a guide (i can't find one anywhere) please leave a link.

Thanks!

Hi mate,

A long bead of tiger seal (or equivalent) along the top and bottom of the side skirt.

I personally use a few self tapping screws, WITH silicone sealant at the ends of the skirts (in the wheel arches) just to be sure.

Get the skirt all tiger sealed up and some bricks/ wood and masking or duct tape ready. Put the skirt in position, make sure its all level and lined up properly, and then use the wood/bricks etc to support the skirt from the bottom, and the duct tape/masking tape to hold it tight to the car at the top. Make sure its all lined up perfectly BEFORE you leave it, as once the tiger seal goes off, it will be extremely difficult to remove again.

I should also mention that you should thoroughly clean the areas that you are applying the tiger seal too, both on the car and the side skirt.

Hope that helps,
Alan
