Hello, Im having issues trying to open the damn thing!

No matter how much force i put into it wont ever open! I managed to open it once and that was it never been able to open it since, is there some sort of catch/latch i need to press?

you sure this was in a mk2 punto? ive never seen one

There is one mentioned in the handbook: but mine doesn't have it....

My ELX used to have one, kept my sat nav in it! It was difficult to open though, I found I had to pull it up and then forwards to get it open.

Got it open, like a1ant said, you have to lift it up then pull

Heres a pic for the none ELX owners to be jelly over

My ELX has one too ... though i owned the car many years before a friend found it for me whilst trying to pull the seat forward and instead ended up with a drawer in her hands!

i used to smuggle kokainum in this sekret kompartmen bak in da old dayz

I like to keep a lot of empty cans and McDonald wrappers under my seats which this draw would seriously interfere with

our elx don't have one but we have got seat airbags

Most probably couid be added,

but fwiw .. what good wouid it be, fill it with junk and it will just rattle away,
theres plenty of room in the boot,

imight fit one of these trays.

just been thinking what its useful for and the only thing ican think of
is for keeping kebabs warm & safe for on the way home, :idea:

It fits to normal seat, I have one. Never used it though

If we lived in murica it would be a perfect place to put a pistol!
