ive recently changed the brake light switch on punto due to
problem with it feeding back on airbag light, weird eh but it does, the fiat stilo seems to suffer with same problem, FWIW.

replaced with new switch from fiat,
to install ive pressed pedal down, inserted switch turned it clockwise to lock it in place and let pedal up,

all was good but switch is now sticky and sometimes brake lights stay on,

put old original switch back in and alls good apart from the the airbag light twitch is back,

is this the correct way to install these switches?
or have ibought a moody switch.,

ive orderd another one just in case,

Hi mate,

Did you pull the ratchet plunger all the way out with the pedal depressed and then let it auto adjust itself when you let the peddle up?
