Managed to change shoes on one side without any problems. Other side is proving to be a right pita. Anyone have any tips? When assembled the drum won't fit over the shoes. I've had 3 or 4 goes at disassembling and re-assembling. What seems to be happening is as soon as I fit the smaller of the top 2 springs, the self adjuster pushes the shoes outboard. Is there a correct order for re-assembling the springs please?

Assemble the brakes
Then using 2 screwdrivers i pull 1 adjuster and push other to reset
It happens to me as well but a quick reset an itll be fine


Remember to pump pedal after drums rebuilt to adjust up correctly

have you let the handbrake cables right off from inside car?
i sometimes forget to do this
