got punto 8v here with fault codes of :

P0141 = 02 sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank 1 sensor 2)

and p0300

is it my guess this punto might be ready for another ECU ?

there is no missfire, leads and plugs are new,

icleared loads of codes off,and these two wont clear.

car runs sweet.

Hang on -- p0300 is random cylinder misfire, but there is no misfire?

Doesn't add up.

AFAIK, p0141 isn't associated with ECU failures.

Short somewhere in the injector wiring? (Just a guess.)

Live data would be useful, maybe. While you'd look for a misfire on the HT side, there could be other causes.

swap the loop de lars round
see if code moves goes etc
it could be a faulty loop de lar
poor earth
or indeed high resistance

the fault code does not identify which part of the heater circuit ie the power supply to the heater or the earth path but monitoring of the circuit is carried out on the earth path for most systems

Swapped sensor with known good one,

still same fault code comes up,

acording to last owner, info given in dribs and drabs,
so no not much to go off,
but, they was stating its been diagnosed recently as needing a new cranksensor,

ithink not mind but icouid be wrong

had same on mine was lamba sensor, they have heaters in them, think the cat in my punto had been changed to one with single lamba so they just unplugged the second one. ran perfect no problem but just came up with O2 sensor heater circuit open circuit.

I would check fuses as well cos think there is a fuse in the heater circuit.
