After the change metal piece behind handbrake lever - which holds the ends of both cables - is not straight. So one is braking more than the other...
I am beginning to think left and right cable should not be the same length! :confused:
Please confirm these cables should be different lengths.

It's a punto mk2 - y.2000 - 5doors - rear drums

when you pull handbrake up,these cables shouid be equal
if not then slacken cable off, remove rear drums and adjust there
then take up the slack on cable in side car,

inspect cables,and condition of shoes, before doing the above,
 
Isees plenty people are just popping out ashtray and adjusting there,


all it does is stretch the cables,

Hubs off is the way to go imho ..

you can get these to hold on Mountains on 3 clicks if done right, :(
