Has anyone had any experience with this code p0105 (manifold absolute pressure/barometric pressure circuit malfunction).

Hi Jazz,

The likely causes for this error will be wiring as in split, melted, etc the map sensor may have malfunctioned or isn't functioning correctly, same for the BARO sensor, then you have the ECM which could also be on its way out or loose wiring.

Best bet, is check all wiring looms are secured in their locations also check for any splits/melted wire if you find any that maybe your problem. If wiring is all fine then my bet will be MAP sensor or the BARO sensor:)

Thanks benny279. I'll give it a look over in the morning or should I just buy a new sensor?
I read some of the symptoms which are slightly missing idle, popping exhaust and slightly increased fuel consumption. I tick those three boxes but I suppose wiring fault could do the same. The car runs really well maybe to well, as if it's getting a bit to much fuel.

Cleared the code yesterday and since then done 110 miles code never returned. He now tells me since thermostsat has been done it doesn't use much fuel so it's all good just the radiator fan to sort now.

I suspect you've got a better heater too..!!;)

what's up with the Rad fan..??

if it needs changing I can recommend adapting ( 5 minute job) the Honda CRX ones from EBAY, @ £25 for a new guaranteed unit,
