Hi everyone punto mk2 2002 is there anyway of fitting a 3 point seatbelt to this car ie do any later mk2 pintos Have a 3 point belt rather than lap belt. If so what parts do I need an does anyone have any pictures so I càn see where it all goes And is anyone breaking one for the parts I need

you would also need the rear seat back as these are specially strengthened inside to support the middle seat upper fastening seatbelt
how do i know?
because as a customer treat i unfortunately set about this quest for them for a sale of the voiture

Hard to find,

ithink late sportings had them fitted, only the odd few,

2004 HGT certainly has them.

found a 2005 mk2 b in a breakers with a centre 3 point belt so iv ordered the seat and buckle ext looking at the original seat looks fairly easy to swop

try and get under car and oil the exposed thread on top of axle before starting
i prefer to windy gun these and keep going till bolts are out

you may find that you need to heat them too

The 2 side buckle bottom bolts seize in, so i bet the seatbelt ones do too....

I dont think i'll ever get mine out, i've waxy'd over mine....

If no windy gun
Remember - forward 1 turn, back half, forward 1, back half
the bolt will be under stress from rust, will need to clean the crap off by the above method

Windy's tend to shake the rust off as it comes through....
