I just want to find out what tyres you guys recommend , i was thinking of getting Bridgestone Re002's , but would like feedback on other possibilities.

Btw getting 195/55/15s

We had kumho ku31 on our hgt multijet, which I found so good I put them on my 1.3 dynamic multijet

i remember when these were as cheap as remoulds but these days they wear swanky pants so shop round on prices

Will do mate, lol i have an urge to posibly get Pirrelis due to it being an italian car and italian tyres but i will take your guys advice and check things out at the local tyre shops.

Don't rule out Uniroyal Rainsports (my favourite tyre in 195/45/14) and Falken.

This isn't one of the standard HGT fitments is it? 185/55 R15 is the UK standard.

I tried a few different tyres before settling on Yokohama s.drive tyres. Great value at only £86.50 a corner fitted and very, very predictable.

Yea the 195/55/15s are a wider tyre, little bit smaller(accelerations lol) like 6mm circ., but in SA the 195/55/15s are half the price of the 185s

I've just noticed you're not in the UK, 195/55 R15 may well be one of the standard fit options in Pretoria. Ignore me, it's early

Lol well i can get a cr*ppy 185 at R1323 so say 95 Pounds a tyre or a re002 bridgestone for R860 or 55 Pounds a tyre, it 8.40 there lol wake up, ive been to gym already...

You should see the gut on me, I've most certainly not been to the gym recently. That's astonishing that you can get Re002s for that sort of money! Unfortunately, here in the UK, using a non-standard tyre specification would mean notifying the insurance company which isn't worth the hassle :devil:

Well todays going to be fun due to driving on the new e-toll "freeways", which where paid for already :bang:, This useless ANC government... Yea i was supprised to about the tyre costs but now i can see there prices going up
