Brought some 12V LED'S to go under the foot well, just wondering what wires can you actually connect it to?

I've seen most people use the interior light and looked at the guides and I have no clue haha

Can you use the cigarette lighter wires? and will this mean that the LED'S will turn on as soon as you put sidelights on?

I'm not entirely sure so any help would be great :)

you could connect to the cig lighter socket but the lights would come on when the igition is on. I have seen the wires on some of these lights and i would definatly fit a 1 amp inline fuse as if a fault occured the 15A cig lighter one would not blow before the wires melted. you could add a relay from the side light circuit so they would come on when the side lights are turned on

Hi mate,

You dont want your footwell lights to come on WHILST you sidelights are on, when its dark at night and you have your lights on, your footwell lights will light up the inside of the car and make it more difficult for you to see!

Its for this reason that most people wire them in to the courtesy light, so that they come on when the doors are open/ interior light is on) and are out whilst your driving.

If your not confident with the guide in the guides section, it may be wise to ask someone who understands wiring to give you a hand as getting it wrong cold result in your car catching fire.
